The primary difference between spy stock vs voo is their issuer. The S&P 500 is launched and issued by Vanguard Group, a mutual fund-based company. On the other hand, the management of the S&P 500 is handled by State Street Global Advisors. SPY was created on September 7, 1993, while VOO was created on January 22, 2010. |
