My coder is trying to convince me to move to .net from PHP. I have always disliked the idea because of the expenses. But he's tryiong none the less. I've been using WordPress on a number of websites for about a year and am anxious about switching to another platform. I have heard very good things about blogengine.net. Is there a way I can import all my wordpress content into it? Any kind of help would be greatly appreciated! https://w1.paitowarnahongkong.top/ | |||

Export WordPress Content: In your WordPress dashboard, go to Tools > Export and download an XML file of your posts, pages, and media. Convert to BlogML: Use a tool like the BlogML export script for WordPress (available on CodePlex or similar repositories) to convert your WordPress XML to BlogML format, which BlogEngine.NET supports. Import to BlogEngine.NET: In BlogEngine.NET’s admin panel, navigate to Settings > Import & Export, and upload the BlogML file. Handle Images: Images may need manual transfer to BlogEngine’s App_Data/files folder, and you might need to update URLs in the BlogML file (replace WordPress’s /wp-content/uploads/ with BlogEngine’s /image.axd?picture=). Check out resources like CloudiView’s guide for detailed steps. It’s a bit tedious but doable . Test on a local setup first to avoid issues. |
