In response to Connecticut’s growing demand for expert veterinary dermatology services, we proudly founded our dedicated dermatology practice in 2024. Spearheaded by Dr. Falk, a seasoned and passionate veterinary dermatologist, our clinic was born out of a vision to deliver cutting-edge skin care solutions for pets in the region. Recognizing the absence of specialized veterinary dermatology services in the state, we purchased the esteemed Shakespeare Veterinary Hospital from its former owner, Dr. Milos, and transformed it into a comprehensive, state-of-the-art facility. For years, pet owners across Connecticut have faced limited access to specialized care for skin, ear, and allergy conditions affecting their beloved animals. General veterinarians, while highly capable, often lack the tools and training to handle complex dermatological cases. Dr. Falk, understanding the immense demand and underserved nature of this niche, stepped in to fill the critical gap in veterinary dermatology.
